Benmetrics

Analytics for every website you build.

Benmetrics is website analytics for web agencies and freelancers. Your clients get numbers they can read, their visitors aren’t tracked, and you keep every website in one account.

  • A café’s website

13,704 visitors in the last 30 days

  • A guest house’s website

5,754 visitors in the last 30 days

  • A joiner’s website

2,330 visitors in the last 30 days

  • A dentist’s website

8,772 visitors in the last 30 days

An example of the list in your account: four clients, each with its last 30 days.

What it does for an agency.

  • Every client in one account.

Add each website you look after and see them in one list, with the last 30 days beside each.

  • A report your client can open.

Send them a link. It opens without an account, and you can put a password on it. If a link gets passed around, replace it and the old one stops working.

  • Numbers they can read without you.

Visitors, the pages they read and where they came from, in plain English. It says “left after one page”, not “bounce rate”.

  • Proof the website is working.

Count the clicks on the buttons that matter, such as “Book now” or a phone number, and see how many visitors get from the homepage to the enquiry form.

  • One line of code, on anything.

Paste it into the website’s template once. It is under 1 KB, so it won’t slow down the pages you built.

  • Nothing to add to a cookie banner.

It sets no cookies and stores nothing on a visitor’s device. Your client’s privacy policy should say they use it, and we give you the words.

Three steps for each client.

  1. Add their website to your account. One account does for the whole agency.
  2. Paste one line of code into it.
  3. Switch on its report link and send it to them. It’s in that website’s settings.
The whole installation

What it doesn’t do yet.

Better you hear it from us than find out later.

  • Your own logo on the report.

A shared report carries the Benmetrics name and a link to us.

  • Reports sent by email.

Your client opens their link when they want to look.

  • Numbers to download.

There is no file for a spreadsheet, and no way for other software to read them.

  • A WordPress plugin.

On WordPress you paste the line into the theme yourself.
